Hello, my name is Wendy and I am the owner of Houselabel Fibres. Knitting is my passion and I love to knit most things from sweaters to socks. I have been knitting on and off for over 30 years. I am mostly a selfish knitter but I have been known to gift knit!

In early 2020 I got the yarn dyeing bug and decided to sell my adventures to feed my addiction. Yes I am a novice indie dyer and the prices reflect that. At this point I am looking to cover my costs and continue to practise and I appreciate you helping me to do that and coming along for the ride.

You will find, semi solids, variegated, gradients, speckled and even self striping yarn. I don’t have all the fancy equipment, it is just me in my kitchen at home on the beautiful East Coast of Scotland. I do have dreams that Houselabel Fibres will become something someday, but for now I’m just having fun.

The name Houselabel Fibres comes from my dad. For as long as I can remember and to this day he has always called me House. As in Wendy House!
When I initially decided to get my brand out there I asked him what my name should be as I needed a label. He instantly said Houselabel! And so Houselabelfibres was born :)
